Under the name " Pappenguss-Membranen Dr. Kurt Müller” the membrane division is continued by Mr. Dr. Kurt Müller. Important customers at this time were e.g. Siemens, AEG and Loewe.
1946
The company relocated to Lachendorf near Celle and produced once again loudspeaker membranes from waste paper in the premises of the Drewsen paper factory.
1947
Heinz Ebers became a partner and initiated the relocation to the current location in Krefeld. In this year, the “DR. KURT MÜLLER GmbH & Co. KG“ also exhibited at the very first Hanover Fair.
1955
The two partners Dr. Kurt Müller and Heinz Ebers founded the independent "Deutsche Fibrit" in Grefrath, which manufactured dashboards and other car parts from wood fibers, based on the “Müller”-process.
1970
With the acquisition of the factory “Pulsonic Ultrasonics Limited” in England, the product range was expanded to include large, air-dried paper cones for the PA sound industry and cones for guitar loudspeakers. This company "Kurt Mueller Ltd." is still a 100% subsidiary of „DR. KURT MÜLLER GmbH & Co. KG“.
1995
The production of rubber surrounds was relocated to the Czech Republic.
2000
The attempt to set up a production facility in Thailand was abandoned and the company concentrated entirely on the plants in Europe again.
2009
Under the pressure of the global financial crisis, Helmut Ebers took over the shares that had been scattered among the Ebers and Müller families and became the sole managing partner.
