Assembled dome diaphragms are combinations of hard domes and soft surrounds that are used for highest quality requirements concerning the frequency response of a tweeter.<\/p>

As cone materials Aluminium, Titanium or Magnesium are applied. Optionally these materials can be provided untreated or with a ceramic surface. The ceramic coating improves stiffness, hardness and mechanical resistance.<\/p>

In addition to that kind of treatment we can offer thin films made by PVD (DLC) on top of the domes. This increases stability against mechanical and chemical impacts and provides improved performance\/consistent colour without added weight.<\/p>

Surround materials are plastic foils with thicknesses from 80 to 240 mm or coated fabrics with grammages from 30 to 60 g\/sqm. DKM\u2019s assembled dome diaphragms are produced with high precision and reproducible product characteristics at computerized manufacturing centres.<\/p>
